Video of Front of New Oregon Home Being Built

One year ago the foundation on our new house was started. The house was finished in about six months from foundation. There have been a few projects that we wanted to do after we moved, but since the weather has been nice we’ve been working on the yard…it’s only a matter of time before it starts raining again.

The grass and the general layout of the landscaping is in. There’s still a few things we want to do in the backyard, but not a huge rush. Most importantly, we have an area for the kids to run around and not get all muddy. They have been enjoying the new lawn and play area.

In honor of the one year anniversary of starting foundation here is a short video showing the transition from an old abandoned house to a new Adair Homes house. The house that we built was the Mt Rainier plan but we made a few modifications such as taking away the master on the main level and choosing the master on the second floor option. We also added a bonus room above the garage.

As with any home there are still a lot of projects that we’d like to complete in and around the house, but slowly we’re turning this house into a home. Thank you for following along as we have gone on this journey! We hope you continue to follow as we share all the projects we complete!
